Measurements from a project in California show that Oxycom’s IntrCooll technology maintained an indoor temperature of approximately 19 °C (66 °F) to 24 °C (75 °F) at outdoor temperatures of up to about 46 °C (115 °F). The temperature difference between outside and inside reached approximately 23 °C (41 °F). Indoor relative humidity remained relatively stable during the measurement period.
During a measurement period from July 8 through July 15, 2026, the outdoor temperature, indoor temperature, and indoor relative humidity were continuously monitored.
The measurement results show a clear contrast: extreme and highly variable outdoor conditions versus a much more stable indoor climate.
Extreme outdoor temperatures
Throughout the week, the outdoor temperature exhibited a distinct daily pattern. The temperature dropped at night and then rose rapidly during the day.
On almost every day of measurement, the outdoor temperature exceeded 42 °C (108 °F). During the hottest periods, the temperature rose to approximately 46 °C (115 °F).
The graph shows sharp peaks and troughs. Thus, the system was not only subjected to very high temperatures but also to large temperature fluctuations within a relatively short period.
A stable indoor temperature
While the outdoor temperature fluctuated significantly from day to day, the indoor temperature remained much more consistent.
During the measurement period, the indoor temperature ranged from approximately 19 °C (66 °F) to 24 °C (75 °F). The indoor temperature line showed only limited and gradual changes, while the outdoor temperature rose and fell sharply each day.
At the hottest times, the difference between the outdoor and indoor temperatures reached approximately 23 °C (41 °F).
The graph thus clearly shows that the indoor temperature did not directly follow the sharp peaks in the outdoor temperature.
Indoor relative humidity
In addition to temperature, indoor relative humidity was also monitored.
During the measurement period, this value is estimated to have varied between approximately 46 and 59 percent. For most of the time, the relative humidity remained within a relatively narrow range.
What do these measurements tell us about IntrCooll?
The measurement data provide a concrete picture of the performance of our IntrCooll under very hot conditions.
During the measurement period, the outdoor temperature rose to approximately 46 °C (115 °F), while the indoor temperature remained between approximately 19 °C (66 °F) and 24 °C (75 °F). The temperature difference reached approximately 23 °C (41 °F). At the same time, indoor relative humidity remained between approximately 46 and 59 percent.
The results show that the indoor climate remained relatively stable during this California heat wave, despite the high outdoor temperatures and significant daily fluctuations.
